New Media New Jersey is a project of Veracity Media to help spur collaboration across the fields of new media in the state of New Jersey. We hope to join professional, students, activists, writers and thinkers across all sectors of new media of all ages, religions, ethnicities, races, genders, ideologies, political propensities (and anything else) to:

• Create diverse and rich platforms to increase information accessibility for all people
• Develop dynamic new ways for citizens to engage with government and to hold government accountable
• Perform serious inquiry, research, study and analysis into the implications of new and developing technologies

New Media New Jersey will hold monthly open meetings for all those involved to contribute ideas, thoughts, opinions and perspectives on the ever-increasing role of new technology in law, politics, culture, economics, social lives, business, finance, music, art, history and the future.

These ideas will help professionals gain more perspective on the role of their work within a larger scope, and help increase awareness of the nearly infinite implications that new technology will have in the world.
